Galais was born in Bordeaux, France. She attended a music school for 9 years,
studying the piano and music theory. From the age of 14 she began to compose her
own songs, influenced by many artists and bands including Madonna, Culture Club,
George Michael, Veronique Sanson, and Michel Berger. In 1996 she left her home
town for Paris, where she spent the next 5 years. The first 2 years were spent
at the Studios d'Alice Dona, a singing school where she also studied drama,
dance, and learnt how to write songs. She then started to perform in Parisian
cabarets, casinos in Normandy, and large hotels throughout France. In the
meantime, she played and sang in the musical "Boa Cantor", lent her voice for a
movie sound track, and also performed for 2 months in Ireland
(Limerick).
In 2001, her first album "being human" was
released. Whilst she continued with her singing throughout France, in 2005 she
released her second album, "2 pas sages". This was followed up in 2008, with the
self-produced album "Attirances". Galais is currently working on a new album
which should see a 2012 release.

a étudié le piano / solfège de très bonne heure. Puis dès l'âge de 14 ans,
elle a commencé à composer ses propres chansons, parfois influencée par
des artistes de l'époque tels que Madonna, Culture Club, George Michael,
Véronique Sanson, Michel Berger... En 1996 elle part pour Paris où elle
reste 5 années. C'est aussi là qu'elle intègre une école de musique (les
studios Alice Dona) où elle apprend la scène, l'écriture de chansons, la
danse ou encore l'art dramatique. Elle commence alors à se produire dans
des cabarets parisiens, des casinos de Normandie, des hôtels de luxe.. Elle
joue dans la comédie musicale "Boa Cantor" au début des années
2000, prête sa voix pour la bande son d'un film d'art et d'essai et chante
durant 2 mois à Limerick en Irlande. En 2001 sort son 1er album "Being
Human". En 2005 un label produit son 2ème album "2 pas sages",
avant de produire elle même son 3ème album "Attirances" en 2008.
Galaïs travaille actuellement sur son futur album qui devrait voir le jour
en 2012.
